- Private career colleges and vocational schools in Canada, especially in Ontario and British Columbia — for example colleges running Personal Support Worker (PSW), Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) and cybersecurity programs, with day, evening and rolling intakes.
- Does Cohort produce T2202 tuition slips?
- Yes. Cohort prepares T2202 Tuition and Enrolment Certificates in the CRA layout, working out eligible tuition from the payments received in the year (net of refunds) and full- and part-time months from each student's program dates.
- How do students pay tuition?
- Colleges set up invoices and payment plans in Cohort. Students can pay by Interac e-Transfer, or by card when the college connects Stripe, and Cohort emails payment reminders a week before each due date and again if a payment is late.
- Does Cohort work with Moodle?
- Yes. Cohort connects to Moodle and imports course grades into the student's record, so transcripts use the marks from your LMS. Files students submit to Moodle assignments show in Cohort, and staff can pause or restore a student's Moodle access for unpaid tuition. It also supports LTI 1.3.
- Can students confirm their attendance records?
- Yes. The instructor uploads the completed attendance form (a PDF or a photo of the paper form), the student checks it in their portal and adds their initials, and Cohort keeps both the original and the initialed copy for audits.
- How much does Cohort cost?
- Plans start at CAD $99 a month for up to 100 active students, priced by enrolled students only — prospects, applicants and staff are free. Every college can try Cohort free for 3 months, with no credit card.
