Announcements (banners)

Settings → Announcements lets admins post a notice. Choose who sees it: Students (shown as a banner and on the Announcements page of the student portal), Everyone (students and staff), or Staff and instructors only (the staff Announcements page and dashboard banner). Visible from / until times are in the college’s time zone; leave them blank to show it straight away with no end date. The message box has a small formatting bar: bold, italic, two heading sizes and bullet lists; leave an empty line between paragraphs, and web addresses become clickable links. Use Preview to see it as students will.
