Attendance forms: upload for the student to initial

When a student finishes their modules, the instructor fills in the attendance form (modules, dates, hours and instructor initials) and clicks "Upload attendance form" and picks the file — a PDF, or a photo of the signed paper form (JPG or PNG), which Cohort turns into a PDF — from My students → the student → Attendance form, or from the student's record. The student is emailed and sees it in their portal under Attendance. They open the form, check it, type their initials and tick the confirmation; Cohort prints their initials in each row of the Student Initial column and adds a confirmation page with their name, initials and the date. They can initial again later if needed, or download the form, initial it themselves and upload their copy. The original upload is never changed — staff can download the original, the initialed copy and any copy the student uploaded. Whoever uploaded a form can remove it until the student has initialed it; after that only an admin can.

Cohort is the student information system for Canadian private career colleges.
