Payment notes, refunds and finding a student in Accounts

To record what a student told the office about paying (for example "will pay on the 15th"), open any of their invoices and use Payment notes. The note applies to the student, not just that invoice; the latest one shows under the student's name in Accounts. Notes are for the office only: students never see them. The person who wrote a note, or an admin, can remove it. The Refunded card and filter in Accounts list every invoice with a refund recorded and the total refunded; record a refund from the invoice with "Record refund". To find a student, type part of their name or ID in the search box and pick them from the suggestions. Use "Student A–Z" to sort the list by name. To change a payment plan, open the student's enrollment and click "Change dates or amounts": you can move dates and re-split the unpaid amount, or tick "Change the amount owed too" to raise or lower it (a reason is required). Every change needs the delete code and is kept in the history.
